Game Art & UI

A collection of 2D game art and UI designs.

Store Assets

Every game needs to have store front assets. These 2D assets are various itterations of the same artwork. I used to set these up in the PlayStation Partners content pipeline, when I worked at Strange Games Studios.

For D-Day Enhanced, I created a scene with posed characters to generate our art assets.

For Awesome Asteroids, Dropship Commander, and Tina's Toy Factory, we used MidJourney to create our art backgrounds due to time constraints. While MidJourney provided almost instant results, we still had to make significant changes to incorporate our own elements into the AI-generated images.

Marketing Images

What's the best way to convince people to get a more premium edition over a standard edition of the game? It's by showing the actual content in some way. Below you can see the images I had to (quickly) create for social media.

DLC Assets

All the weapon skins we included in DLC packs had to have an image before it could be displayed in the store. We had individual skin DLC, bundles of skins, and an ultimate bundle with everything included. Because we had a lot of skins, I've only included a couple of examples here below.
